Quick progress being made

Things change quickly each time a visit is made to the site. Framing on the office area has begun as well as duct work in that area as well. The first layer of exterior material has begun to be hung to the exterior studs. Sorry for the poor quality of the last pictures...had to use my phone. It is projected for the framing to be complete for the entire building by a week from Friday. Hopefully the forecasted rain will not slow things down too much as the framers will be under roof.

Update

The pictures from the 2 posts below were taken today. The post below those 2 were taken Friday. Roofing on the office area is complete and roofing on the worship area began today. As you see, interior studs are up in the education wing as well as door jambs. Also, the tie-in of the main water line to the city water line was being worked on today. Roofing should be complete this week. The crews seem to have been working fast yesterday as much work had been done since Friday.

Construction Update

The pictures in the 2 posts below were taken today. The roof on the eduction area is complete. As you see in some of the pictures they are working their way down the roof of the office area. Take note of the intricate steel work in one of the pictures where the roofline of the office area meets the roof of the education wing. The framing work has begun. The exterior wall studs you see in one of the pictures are on the western wall of the education area. Also, the footers for all the interior walls have been laid down in the education wing. That certainly is an exciting thing to see as you can now begin to see the layout of the rooms. The other work that was going on today was the installation of the main water line. There was quite a bit of activity today and I am sure that will increase. Check back over the weekend as I plan on getting back out to the site to take more pictures Friday or Saturday.
